Welcome

Welcome to the Victorian Employability Skills Community of Practice Website.

The Employability Skills Community of Practice (ESCoP) seeks to provide assistance to trainers and assessors with developing a logical, systematic approach to the integration of Employability Skills in training & assessment strategies. The ESCoP promotes the sharing of ideas and resources and building cooperative working relationships among VET practitioners.

The membership of the ESCoP is diverse with representation from a range of TAFE's and other RTO's. Several different groups of VET Professionals make up the ESCoP including;

• Teachers/Trainers/Assessors
• Educational/Professional Development/Project Management Staff
• Managers/Directors of Departments/Schools/Organisations
• Industry Training Board Representatives

The ESCoP meets throughout the year to share resources and experiences, access up-to-date information on Employability Skills and discuss common concerns/issues. A number of professional development forums/events are also held each year.
