About VTA
The Victorian TAFE Association (VTA) Inc. was established in January 1999 as a result of a merger between the former Association of TAFE Institutes (ATI) and the Victorian Association of TAFE Directors (VICAD). The Association has an increasing role in liaising with government at State and Federal levels on issues affecting Victoria's TAFE Institutes and multi-sector universities. We have represented Victorian TAFE Institutes in a number of inquiries and initiatives, at both State and Federal level. The Association is governed by Administrative Committee and the decisions of Association Council (please see Rules below). Our structures include monthly meetings of CEO Council and bi-monthly meetings of issue based Standing Committees.
